Code Geass: Lancelot & Guren Spinoff Manga Release

Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype magazine official website raised the curtain on the prologue chapter of Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch Gaiden – Shiro no Kishi, Kurenai no Yasha. This only paves the way for the manga’s approaching debute, mainly taking place on the next December 22.

Plot:

The manga will shed lights on both Suzaku and Kallen’s stories. This is something that the original storyline didn’t include. However, now we’ll get to see that.

Production:

Bisui Takahashi will be the scenarist of the new work. Takahiro Kimura is in charge of drawing the character’s design. Astrays is responsible for the new Knightmare Frame designs.

Future Projects:

The original franchise receives another manga spinoff entitled Code Geass Story Fragment – Piece of the Mosaic. The latter sheds light on six new protagonists whose lives are somehow affected by the main story events. In addition to that, Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Handō (Code Geass – Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Rebellion Path), the second film, opens on February 10th. Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Ōdō (Code Geass – Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Imperial Path), the third film, stars in May 2018. Last but not least, the franchise is also getting another sequel project titled Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection). The format, however, reveals itself later, much, much later.
