If the two keys were to merge again, then Bahamut will be reborn, stronger than ever and wreck havoc. The show starts off with Mira, a human girl. She steals one of the keys from the angels, thus beginning the process of Bahamut’s inevitable resurrection. The story is amazing, but, most importantly, easy to follow. You will like the supernatural aspect that it shares with Claymore.

11.Basilisk

This is a blood-thirsty spin off of an eternal war between two households. In their eternal pursuit to impose their powers, the Iga and Kouga ninja clans have engaged in bloodbath. But when the powerful warlord, Ieyasu Tokugawa, suggested a treaty, the two clans seized fire. In a later time, Gennosuke Kouga, heir of the Kouga clan, and Oboro Iga, heiress of the Iga clan, have fallen in love.

Now, they both hope to unify the two clans, and join their people in piece. That didn’t last for so long however, as the never-dying flames of hatred ignited again. Now, the destiny and future of both clans lay in the hands of the two lovers. Which one is it: Love or loyalty?

10.Ajin

In a fictional universe where humanity stumbled upon the discovery of a new kind of beings, the Ajin. Having the appearance of any normal person, the Ajins are thought to be immortal. They also possess several superhuman abilities. Kei Nagai is a high-schooler who knows very little about Ajin.

Students are taught that these beings are not considered as human, but Kei doesn’t pay much attention in class. As a result, his lack of knowledge concerning this subject proves ineffective when he survives an accident that, supposedly, dared claim his life. Then on, we witness the bases of his life shifting and the start of his days of torment, as he unknowingly gets to be re-birthed as an Ajin.

9.Fate/stay night

Shirou is a boy who lived his life normally. One fateful night, his family gets caught in an inferno, and then they all die tragically. Shirou is saved by a man named Kiritsugu Emiya, who adopts him. Ever since that day, Shirou’s life changes. Later on, Emiya reveals to him that he is a mage who failed to be a hero of justice. Moved by Kiritsugu’s confession, Shirou expresses his desire to become a guardian of mankind. So, he pleads with him to teach and train him the mage craft.

After Kiritsugu’s death, Shirou gets frustrated with himself. That ends once he witnesses a fight between two inhuman creatures called “the servants.” He, miraculously, survives a lethal attack where he summons a servant of his own named Saber. This forces him to join the battle royal, where his fate and all of his beliefs are put through test.

8.Devil May Cry

In the world of Devil May Cry, we trace the story of the demon hunter known as Dante. Being a unique entity with half demon, half human blood, he uses his trusty sword Rebellion, and his two guns Ebony and Ivory to solely fight in his own missions. Dante owns and runs “Devil May Cry,” a business that specializes in hunting down and solving demon-related problems. Both shows demonstrate a plentitude of similarities.

The latter is directly related to their theme and plot, of course. In here, we notice that Dante and Claire are both hybrid creatures who seek to destroy demons and monsters. Moreover, their stories are full of fights and gory scenes. That beside other things that we would like you to discover

7.Tokyo Ghoul

And of course, we can’t skip this list without mentioning this ever so-modern spinoff. Can we? In recent times, Tokyo has changed, however, for good this time. The world is not the same anymore. It is tougher and crueler, now. Amongst humans, there live creatures, hungry for human flesh, evil and wretched. Namely, those creatures are Ghouls. The plot sheds light on the shy, bookworm, well-mannered young man, Kaneki Ken.

After his date with Rize Kamishiro, his life turns into a living hell. Rize, a ghoul imposter, misleads Kaneki and tries to prey on him after their date. Only then, things get even worst. Kaneki, somehow, gets turned into a half ghoul. Upon the latest occurrences, Kaneki has to deal with his new nature, thus having to adapt to the hellish, unfair circumstances.

6.Pandora Hearts

Pandora Hearts bases on the supernatural fantasy manga of the same title. It tells the story of fifteen-year-old Oz’s shenanigans to find out the meaning behind the eerie events that burdens him. Teaming up with a mysterious Chain named Alice, and members of a secret organization known as “Pandora,” Oz begins to notice that his existence may have more meaning than he could have ever imagined.

There are plenty of similarities that we can’t ignore between the two shows. For instance: each main character went through so much life-changing occurrences that they, now, have to discover more about. Moreover, Oz and Claire lived two lives full of secrets where they both requested the truth, and thirstily looked for it.

5.Gantz

The first thing that Kei wakes up upon is the memory of a train running over him. Now, he stands in a room full of faces he need to know. The harsh realization hits him, that he has been revived from death, somehow. His resurrection, however, is just a temporary thing unless he undertakes the hard missions that Gantz assigns. Now, Kei is confused more than ever before, where everything he ever knew is put into test.

His life is not even his; his death will be spat and trampled upon like it’s nothing, again and again. What happens if he does not stick to the plan? This show is full of violence, murder, and everything unholy that comes into your mind. It will absolutely satisfy the beast in you.

4.D.Gray-man

Allen Walker is a young man who enrolls in the organization of Exorcists. He has in mind one single purpose: eliminating the Akuma. The Akuma are in fact mechanical weapons made by suffering living souls; these are controlled by the Millenium Earl, a twisted and dark minded man. It is the task Allen and his organization to abolish and vanquish the Earl, the source of all evils.

One of the greatest series that is so similar to Claymore is D. Gray-man. The hero of the series, Allen, is forced to cope with demons from his past, and the loss of his loved ones, just like Claire. Allen takes responsibility, as in to release all the souls that the Earl had captured, and save humanity .Moreover, both protagonists share the same mission: stopping demons and defending humans. The both join organizations to seek justice and annihilate monsters.

3.Elfen Lied

Lucy is a unique breed of human, a Diclonius. Unfortunately, she was the victim of inhumane scientific experimentation, applied and supported by the government. Once Lucy gets a chance to escape from the lab, she unconsciously and involuntarily unleashes her internal anger and rage, thus causing a homicidal scenery of gore. While trying to escape, she sustains a dire head injury that leaves her with a state of schizophrenia.

However all of that goes unnoticed by Lucy, since she lost her memories, too. Unbeknown to her, now, the girl develops another persona. She is now schizophrenic. She is the harmless child who lives with the cold-blooded murderer inside of her. This is just the beginning for something even bigger, for her life will completely change later on.

2.Hellsing Ultimate

In a far than ordinary realm, all evil entities exist, such as vampires and werewolves. All those creatures freely roam the world, and prey on humans. On the other side of the table there is Hellsing. The fully dedicated organization fights for the safety of humanity by finishing off that entire malicious creature. Its head is Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, who spent all her life batteling against all dark forces.

Her ultimate family weapon is the ancient vampire Alucard, who works under her order, eliminating his own kind. He is joined by Seras Victoria, a newly created vampire.  As far as bloodbaths go, there’s only a handful of anime that can match Claymore’s brutality. In a nutshell, Hellsing delivers. As our top charter, we recommend Berserk for you. Let us all join the journey of Guts and the Band Of The Hawk. Guts is a well-known mercenary who devoted his life to solely fight and kill.
