Top 10 Pokémon With Highest Attack Stats (Best Picks)

Ever since Pokémon Go was officially launched in Japan, it became the new trend for anyone who’s into gaming. This time, it’s literally an adventure outside of the original home territory.

Last time we spoke about defeating Gym Leaders, but that’s not all there is to Pokémon. It’s necessary to consider tactics and strategies when in a battle. However, it remains difficult to attain the goal you want without an effective attack from your Pokémon collection. Once you’ve settled with best defense and highest HP, you’ve got to move on to highest attack stats. So, here is our top ten Pokémon with highest attack stats!

10. Charizard

CharizardCharizard evolves from Charmeleon  beginning from level 35. It’s the final form of it, though it can mega evolve to Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y. Charizard is the kind of Pokémon that flies around in search of powerful Pokémon. It breathes out fire that can melt everything, yet it does not use it against weaker opponents. Charizard is the Fire, Flying-type, with Blaze as an ability. Once this Pokémon is furious, the flames at the tip of its tales turn into a dazzling blue. Charizard has 212 attack stats, which pars with its incredible speed.

Charizard’s HP and Defense are not its strong suit, not mention the  weaknesses against Rock, Electric, and Water-types.

9. Mew

MewThe kind of Pokémon rarely seen worldwide, as it goes invisible to avoid anyone’s attention. Mew possesses the genetic composition of all Pokémon, which scientists consider he is the ancestor of all Pokémon.

It’s known that it does not evolve into anything. Mew is a psychic-type, with Synchronize ability—Passes poison, paralyze, or burn to the Pokémon that inflicted it. Mew has 220 attack stats; not too bad defense and speed, as well.

However, despite it being the cute version of Mewtwo, it has the same weaknesses as it—Bug, Ghost, and Dark.

8. Victreebel

VictreebelVictreebel has two other previous forms before it— Weepingbell and Bellsprout. Though it may seem like it didn’t evolve much except in some stats, it’s still a good Grass, Poison- type. Victreebel is, by far, the creepiest looking one of its forms. It has a long vine extending from its head. The purpose of the vine is to deceive and attract its preys into thinking Victreebel is an animal. When the prey is near enough, Victreebel eats it whole. It has two abilities, Chlorophyll and a hidden one called Gluttony. It has an attack that goes up to 222, and a not too shabby stamina and defense.

Despite being quite a formidable Pokémon, it has weaknesses against four types: Fire, Ice, Flying, and Psychic.

7. Arcanine

ArcanineEvloving from Growlithe when exposed to Fire Stone is Arcanine, a strong, fast Pokémon. When a Pokémon can run over 6200 miles in a single day and night, it can take the title of being very fast. The source of Arcanine’s power is the fire blazing within its body, which makes it a Fire-type Pokémon. It has two abilities: Intimidate and Flash Fire. From Generation I and it being legendary, this Pokémon has 230 attack stats. In addition to its attack, it has great stamina and defense, both having 180.

Due to its strength in three aspects, Arcanine’s weaknesses do not matter much if its maneuverable much. Water, Rock, and Ground types don’t let it be your strong suit.

6. Exeggutor

ExeggutorThis one pars with Zapdos when it comes to attack stats. Exeggutor, originally, came from the tropics, much like its appearance tells. Its head grows larger when its exposed to sunlight. Exeggutor is a Psychic, Grass-type Pokémon. It evolves from Exeggcute to Exeggutor. Its abilities is Chlorophyll , which boosts the Pokémon’s speed. This Pokémon can be a tad annoying due to each had having its own thoughts, so its cries can be irritating and noisy.

It’s useful, true, but it has so many weaknesses that it tends to make you give up on it. Exeggutor is weak against pretty much anything. From Bug, Dark, Flying, Fire, Ghost, Ice, to Poison. So, giving it a chance to be a remedy if you’re close to losing is moon and earth’s distance.

5. Zapdos

ZapdosZapdos, from its name, is an Electric, flying-type Pokémon. It’s, like Moltres, a legendary Pokémon that isn’t known to evolve to any other form. It’s said it usually lives in thunderclouds. If stricken by lightning bolts, Zapdos can gain power. Zapdos’ ability is Pressure.

From Generation I, this Pokémon has attack stats up to 232, and it’s not completely useless or powerless. Its speed and defense are quite alright, but its highest advantage is special attack.

Luckily, Zapdos doesn’t have many weaknesses that can bind you in chains. It’s only weaknesses are Ice and Rock types.

4. Flareon

FlareonFrom its name, it can be deduced it’s a fire-type Pokémon. Flareon may fool you with its fluffy fur, but make no mistake, its sole purpose is to release heat from its body so it doesn’t get excessively hot. Flareon’s body temperature can rise to 1,650 Fahrenheit.  It’s started to appear from Generation I. It’s abilities is Flash Fire; 238 of attack stats.

This Pokémon’s HP and Defense are rather low, so it’s best used as a killer attack, an ace up your sleeve. However, this Pokémon has many types and forms it can evolve into. It’s normal form is Eevee, but it can evolve into Vaporeon—a water type, Glaceon—an Ice-type, and many other more.

Any Pokémon is met with flaws no matter how good or strong it is. Flareon is weak against Rock, Ground, and Water-types.

3. Moltres

MoltresMoltres is a legendary Pokémon that has the ability to control fire. A phoenix rises from the ashes, and this Pokémon is quite similar. Moltres, if injured, takes a dip in molten magma of a volcano to heal itself. Generation I was Moltres’ first appearance. It has a high amount of attack stats – 242, though it does not evolve into any other form.

It’s a fire, flying-type of Pokémon. With its other stats that are quite parallel with each other, it’s quite good.

All you have to do is avoid other Pokémon that it doesn’t get along with like Rock, Electric and Water-type.

2. Dragonite

DragoniteDragonite is one of the best Pokémon out there for its high intelligence, as it can par with that of a human. He is a kindhearted Pokémon that guides ship in storms to land safely. And it can circle the globe in just 16 hours. Dragonite was first introduced in Generation I. It’s a Dragon, flying- type of Pokémon with an attack stat of 250. Its first form is Dratini, and it evolves to Dragonair, then at level 55 it evolves to Dragonite.

Yet, Dragonite has plenty of weakness against other types, which makes it very vulnerable. It has a weakness towards Ice, Dragon, Rock, and Fairy types. Though it has high attack stats, it still lacks in other areas like speed and defense.

1. Mewtwo

MewtwoMewtwo is a Pokémon created by an experiment, or rather a genetic manipulation. It’s known to be one of the strongest Pokémon out there. Though it is a human creation, it’s heart is nothing but cold. He has the same DNA of Mew, but they differ greatly in size. It was first introduced in Generation I with attack stats of 284, which make it the best Pokémon to cause damage to its enemies. Mewtwo is a Psychic-type Pokémon that does not evolve into another Pokémon. It just can mega evolve into Mega Mewtwo X using Mewtwonite X and Mega Mewtwo Y using Mewtwonite Y.

However, no matter how perfect this Pokémon may be, it has flaws. One of them, Mewtwo was created just to cause destruction, mainly to attack. So, it has lower HP and Defense stats. Not to mention, it has a weakness against three other types of Pokémon—Bug, Dark, and Ghost.
